RESIDENTIAL PARKS ACT 2007 REVIEW UPDATE :

The Residential Parks (Miscellaneous) Amendments Act 2019 (An Act to amend the Residential Parks Act 2007)  passed through the S.A. Parliament on 13th February, 2019 and received the Governors assent on 21st February, 2019.
​The amendments to the Residential Parks Act 2007 were enacted and take effect as at 12th August 2019.

What is SARPRA ?

SARPRA was formed when the Residential Parks Bill became The Residential Parks Act 2007.  SARPRA advocates on behalf of all its members for the best possible living conditions in Residential Parks.  The history of SARPRA. 

Our membership comes from all residents and Residents' Committees of Residential parks in South Australia that are covered by the Residential Parks Act 2007.

SARPRA works with similar  organisations in other States and the Acts under which they exist.

SARPRA gathers and distributes information to Residents Committees and its members.

SARPRA understands that all Parks and their Committees have different needs and goals and will respect those wishes.

Mission Statement

​SARPRA's aim is to be a unified voice collaborating at Community, Corporate and Government level to promote and protect the affordable lifestyle options offered by Residential Parks.

​Specifically  here is what SARPRA does:

1.    Represent the interests of residents of South Australian Residential Parks in as many forums as possible,

2.    Provide a forum for residents and Residents' Committees to exchange ideas that may assist residents of their Park,

3.    Maintain contact with similar organisations in Australia,

4.    Encourage State authorities to consult the residents of Parks and SARPRA prior to  changing the current Act.

5.    Consult with South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT),

6.    Respond to invitations by local Residents' Committees for a meeting, and

7.    Assist Managers of Residential Parks to instigate facilities and procedures helpful to residents.
